I am Elizabeth, and I’m so glad you’ve decided to stop by! I have been shooting portraits and couples for the last three years but am currently in the process of switching gears to the conceptual/fine art photography world. I am local to the Cookeville, TN area but love a good road trip if you’re not local! Keep reading if you’d like to know more about me and my work….
I am married to my high school sweetheart – we met as infants, reunited in high school, and decided it was meant to be in college. I am an avid animal lover and fur mom, so yes, I have kids! One of my hobbies is being a homebody…..if I’m not cleaning or organizing something at home, I’m mostly likely dabbling in books, music, or the latest tv show obsession. Photography isn’t how I pay the bills – I own a master’s degree in Social Work and claim this career as my biggest passion. Monday through Friday you’ll find me working as a therapist with children and adolescents in foster care. These kiddos have a huge chunk of my heart and have grown and changed me in ways I didn’t know were possible. Photography has evolved into my creative outlet and a necessary self-care tool, which is why I am currently in the process of evolving/re-branding myself as a photographer. I am inspired by music, poetry, nature, and my relationship with self and others. Last, but certainly not least, I believe in God and am on a continuing journey to discover His plan for my life.
