I am Elizabeth, and I’m so glad you’ve decided to stop by! I specialize in conceptual portraiture and couples. I am currently local to the Nashville, TN area but will be relocating to Cookeville, TN at the end of 2019. I do travel occasionally for shoots and weddings so don’t hesitate to reach out if you’re not local to either of these areas! Keep reading if you’d like to know more about me and my photography….
I am married to my high school sweetheart – we met as infants, reunited in high school, and decided it was meant to be in college. If you book a wedding with me, you will see him pop up as my second shooter! I use to be called the crazy cat lady and am a cat mom of Abby + Sydney. More recently I’ve claimed the title of obsessed dog mom, as we adopted our sweet and hyperactive fur babes, Cooper + Chloe. When at home, if you don’t find me cleaning or organizing something, I’m most likely reading a book, playing the piano, or vegging out on the latest tv show obsession. Photography isn’t how I pay the bills – I own a master’s degree in Social Work and claim this career as my biggest passion. Monday through Friday you’ll find me working as a therapist with children and adolescents in foster care. These kiddos and families have a huge chunk of my heart and I wouldn’t be the same person I am today if it weren’t for this part of my life. Photography is my outlet to create whatever I want and has evolved into helping others bring their own stories and ideas to life. I am inspired by music, nature, and my relationship with self and others. Last, but certainly not least, I believe in God and am on a continuing journey to discover His plan for my life.
